Do You Know about the Goose?

November News 2026

Hello Friends,

Do you know about…the Goose? To be specific Giddy the Goose?

I am often late to the trends game so I may be a season or two behind, but I have a friend who is a whole sale rep who has been talking about her goose sales for quite a while. I guess you could say THE GOOSE has been the 2026 rage.

In short, it’s a quirky porch decor goose that is outfitted for every season, holiday, team or however you choose to dress Giddy. All you need is the base goose and it’s game on from there. Giddy sounds like a female to me, but as I look at photos, Giddy could be a gander too.

Front porch styling is a trend that has increased year over year. Take a walk through Hobby Lobby and you’ll be tempted to bring home enough seasonal flowers and charming welcome signs to brighten any front door!

Giddy, began as a porch staple in the 1980’s, originating in Ohio, and is now seeing a comeback. I had not noticed porch geese before, but now my eyes are peeled when I drive through a neighborhood! The goose has a big personality and a bigger following. She popped up right away with a single search of “porch goose.” Check out any social media site for ideas. Recently added to the flock is Georgie, the porch goose baby.

The wardrobe has no limits with interchangeable outfits for any and all special occasions. Happy 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years (matches well with CENTURY 21 colors), Valentines, Easter…did I miss any?

Of course teams sports can cash in, and Giddy has a tuxedo or gown for any black tie event such as a wedding or prom, depending on the gender of your goose.

If you have a porch goose, please email or drop a picture of your Giddy in online comments.

No, I don’t have one, but Christmas is coming!
